Dating site for musicians uk
I'm sure we've all had a teacher or musical friend who is dating or married to another musician. Music courses are apparently more popular than ever but I never seem to be in the right social circles to meet musicians outside of university. I have just under two year before starting another music course and I'd like to know how to meet musicians outside of class. Non of my friends are musicians and I'm no longer part of orchestra or choir groups. Or does anyone know of online groups to meet year old musicians around England?

Original post by score88 Hi everyone, As a music undergraduate music pretty much makes up my life. Report 6 years ago 3. The best way to meet other musicians, is to get out there and play some music! I can understand where you're coming from, because music is so important to me that I could never date someone who doesn't at least appreciate music.
I find that you build up a network of contacts just by being involved in some form of music activity. I've been playing in bands for the past 7 years and I know if I ever need someone who plays eg. This is also why I am often approached and asked for by people I know, or who know someone I know. It can be difficult to find yourself a group that clicks, but if you keep looking, you will. I like to sign up for pretty much everything that comes my way, because you never know what could come out of it.

I don't do music as a hobby or just an academic subject I do it as an entire lifestyle choice. I've also dated more people than I ever imagined I would or could and I feel quite ready to have just one man in my life. Surely that is how most musicians end up with other musicians? I can see where you're coming from but surely a difference of interests would create a better relationship because you'd have more to talk about and a wider variety of things to do together. Maybe you'd have more luck if you had a broader range of interests yourself? The world would be a very boring place if everyone had one specific interest and nothing else.
Oh dear it would seem most of you are against my choice. For the most part I can see why musicians dating either would seem dull, however, for me, it's seems to be the most enjoyable connection I have known. Something like defending my preferrence as I am now becomes so tedious and yet when I was with a musicians I never had to explain. Can we not just put it down to a preference? Also if I haven't mentioned I don't have any connections with musicians so I am capable of enjoying other aspects of friendships and relationships.

I just know I can share a deeper side of myself with a fellow musician and receive theirs. Original post by Simplicity Personally, I think it's not the music that is the problem.

I doubt it is. Also, you are using excuses. You must have interests besides music, I doubt you are constantly talking about music which would be annoying even too a musician.
